About the OwnerAfter joining the military in 2010 at 18 years old, Jack pursued an exciting career over the next 8 years in two separate Infantry Battalions. The first battalion being the premier battalion of the Australian Army - The First Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR). He deployed with 1RAR on many different exercises through-out Australia and overseas to places such as Hawaii, New Zealand and Dubai. In 2014 he deployed with 1RAR as the 2nd Force Protection Element (FPE-2) on the outskirts of Kabul, Afghanistan. Force Protection was one of many roles conducted whilst on deployment in Afghanistan. After returning to Australia, Jack then spent time in 3RAR, another Infantry battalion, before discharging in 2018. Employment outside of the Australian Army consisted of spending time in the mining industry in the capacity of a Fire Fighter and an Emergency Medical Technician in Far North Queensland. During the time in this role Jack attended an Anti-Poaching Selection course in the Arizona desert. After the successful completion of the course, Jack was able to protect African wildlife from poachers and had added to the arsenal of skills to complete these tasks. After spending time in the mines and armed with new skills and experience as first responder Jack applied for the Northern Territory Police Force and was successful in gaining employment. After initial training at the Police college, he was then posted to Alice Springs where he would spend the next 2 - 3 years conducting an endless number of different and challenging roles in uniform and in a plain clothes capacity. Jack would go on to conduct policing duties in remote communities around Alice Springs. Jack was then posted to Palmerston in the Northern command where he would create Spear Point Armed Security Solutions after believing there was a short fall in capable operators in the security industry. | |
